Northern Community Investment Corporation (NCIC) has an exceptional opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will operate from NCIC’s St. Johnsbury, VT office, with the potential option to work remotely. NCIC is a non-profit organization that provides capital and community economic development expertise to strengthen businesses, communities and employment opportunities throughout VT and NH, with a particular emphasis on Northern NH and Northeastern VT.
Under the direction of the Director of Economic Development, the Project Manager will provide services to assist organizations, businesses and communities with regional community and economic development initiatives. The Project Manager will assist with conceiving, structuring and implementing projects, setting realistic and practical goals for the project, and developing appropriate strategies for achieving those goals. Services may range from project management, grant writing, grant management and grant administration to coordination of the organization’s activities and monitoring of the organization’s grant-related expenditures.
The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree at an accredited college/university or 2-3 years work experience in a like-field. The preferred candidate may have experience related to construction management, engineering, environmental assessment work, or with lending/financial packaging (traditional debt, subordinate lending, New Market Tax Credits, USDA Community Facilities loans).
